Academic Administration and Planning
Principled Stewardship of Campus Resources
What We Do
The Office of Academic Administration and Planning serves the provost and campus community in advancing the academic mission of UT Austin through the principled stewardship of data, space, and financial resources. We do this by providing innovative and intuitive data analyses to inform campus leadership and enhance strategic decision-making.
Collaboration is an essential part of our process. We work with partners across campus to plan, develop, and maintain spaces that inspire learning and discovery. Our office is also responsible for academic budgeting and finances, space allocation and utilization for academic purposes, renovations and capital projects, compliance and others.

Admissions Welcome Center
The new Admissions Welcome Center is now located on the first level of the Perry-Castañeda Library (PCL).
