As part of our Home to Texas program, 40 students from 11 small and medium-size communities across Texas, contributed to their hometowns through community research and internships with local organizations this summer.
A Texas-Sized Reading List for 2022
The Reading Round-Up is a popular summer book club that introduces new Longhorns to the college environment at UT Austin. Over the summer, incoming freshmen choose from a large selection of books curated by faculty members. Then students and professors meet in small groups before fall classes.
