ELI Faculty Course Developer Program
ELI Faculty Course Developers receive a two-year stipend of $10,000 ($5,000 a year) as well as support from ELI and the Faculty Innovation Center to plan, design, and teach an experiential learning component. Faculty Course Developers then implement this component in a new or existing undergraduate course and work with ELI to reflect on the process and assess results. Course Developers also have the mentorship of ELI Ambassadors, who receive a smaller stipend for two years.
The program has awarded two sets of Developers, one in early 2019 (27 faculty) and one in 2020 (25 faculty).
