UPDATE TO FACULTY ONBOARDING
APS recently worked with eBITS to update the Workday onboarding process for our academic population.
Newly hired employees in the Faculty and A&P Research/Research Fellows job families will no longer receive the Outside Employment form as part of the Review Documents task presented in the new hire’s Workday inbox.
Instead, we have updated the task (click link for visual) to include instructions for completing appropriate disclosures via UT System’s Outside ActivityPortal and the Financial Interest Disclosure (FID) Form. We have also provided a link to a policy overview of Conflict of Interest, Conflict of Commitment, and Outside Activities.
DEMOGRAPHIC INFORMATION ADDED TO ACADEMIC APPOINTMENT DETAILS REPORT
We have also worked with eBITS to have demographic information added to the Academic Appointment Details – RPT0241 report in Workday.
Users who are authorized to view demographic data will now see fields for Gender, Hispanic or Latino, Race/Ethnicity, and Citizenship Status when viewing the report.
