Mayda Perez, Director of Operations for the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost
Mayda Perez is the Director of Operations for the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost at The University of Texas at Austin, with over 15 years of experience providing executive-level administrative support. In her current role, she manages daily operations, oversees projects and events to foster a culture of belonging, and collaborates with university stakeholders and the UT System. Mayda leads the administrative and IT staff, supervises hiring and onboarding, and collaborates on performance reviews. She also manages the office calendar, coordinates special events, ensures efficient office operations, and acts as the Workday delegate for the provost. Additionally, she provides support to the university’s Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) Transition Campus Engagement Committee. Employed at the university since 2005, Mayda has been serving in her current role since 2025.
