AI Pedagogy Project
Defining teaching excellence in higher education in the age of generative AI.
The AI Pedagogy Project supports campus as we navigate the changes that the proliferation of generative AI tools has brought to higher education. We provide direct support — learning opportunities, convenings, and innovation projects like UT Sage — organized around three priorities.
Our Priorities
Priority 01
AI Fluency
Fostering AI Fluency — through the 4D AI Fluency Framework — so that the campus community uses AI effectively, efficiently, safely, and ethically.
Priority 02
Enablement
Enabling pathways for innovative responses to AI in teaching and learning by deploying AI projects for the classroom through token grants and other resources. This could mean innovative approaches to content delivery, assessment, or even interventions that help students know when not to use AI for their learning.
Priority 03
Integration
Guiding sustained integration of AI best practices into teaching through research and evidence-based recommendations.
