Each year, SXSWedu draws thought-leaders, entrepreneurs, policy makers and innovators from all over the world. An extension of the creative and popular discussions happening during the SXSW Interactive Festival, SXSWedu started in 2011 and has quickly grown into one of the most talked-about educational conferences in the world.
Starting on March 7, the three-day festival again showed significant growth and interest. Faculty and staff from across UT Austin were found leading discussions across a diverse array of topics related to K-12 and higher ed.
The identity of Austin as a hub of creativity and innovation is closely tied to the success of SXSW and the vast depth and richness of research and academics at UT Austin. This access to SXSW and SXSWedu for those wanting to tap into broader conversations makes the university a unique place for those who attend and present each year.
