Academic Curriculum Advisory Committee

The Academic Curriculum Advisory Committee (ACAC) serves as the curriculum committee for academic programs coordinated by the Office of Academic Affairs, including requirements Academic Affairs coordinates for the university as a whole that are part of the general education for undergraduates across colleges. ACAC also serves in a consultative role to advise the Senior Vice Provost of Academic Affairs on questions related to matters of curricular, academic, and educational policy.

Elections

The Faculty Council solicits nominations from the general faculty of undergraduate degree-granting colleges and schools, including self-nominations, for membership on ACAC. No nominations are accepted from the four schools and colleges represented by continuing elected members. The ballot of nominees is presented to the voting members of the Faculty Council, and the two faculty members elected (who must be from different schools/colleges) start their three-year terms at the beginning of the following academic year.
