Dear Faculty Colleagues,
As we wrap up our fall semester and prepare for the winter break, I want to thank each of you for your hard work, dedication, and continued perseverance over the past four months.
I know things haven’t been “normal” in quite some time, and that you and your families are stretched thin with ever-increasing work-life demands. But in the face of many challenges throughout the semester, you made quick and creative changes, and you worked around difficult constraints, to provide a high-quality learning environment for our students. And you helped bring the vibrancy of the UT campus — something we’ve all greatly missed during this pandemic — back to life.
Thank you, again, for your outstanding contributions in support of our academic mission. I want you to know that all of us in the Provost’s Office are incredibly proud and appreciative of the work that you do for UT.
Wishing you, your families, and your friends a restful break and a very happy holiday!
Sincerely,
Sharon L. Wood
Executive Vice President and Provost
