At UT Austin, the impact of the scholarship of our faculty book authors is outstanding. This program was created to highlight the breadth of scholarship taking place across the University. During the Faculty Authors Reception, President Davis, Provost Inboden, deans, department chairs and other university leaders recognize faculty’s published works from the previous year.

Eligibility

• Works — including scholarly monographs, creative works (e.g., novels and anthologies of poetry), exhibition catalogs, and edited collections — must have been published between January 1, 2026, and December 31, 2026.
  
• Faculty interested in participating in the 2027 Faculty Authors Reception may submit here. Submissions are due by Friday, Nov. 20, 2026.
• Save the date for the Faculty Authors Reception & Hamilton Book Awards on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2027.
