We coordinate and support a variety of programs, working groups, and task force efforts dedicated to removing barriers to success and developing solutions to meet the unique needs of campus.

Institutional Priorities

We provide leadership and support to the campus community through initiatives that advance the academic mission of the university. Working collaboratively with campus leaders and stakeholders, these initiatives support the creation of knowledge and discovery and improve access to resources and opportunities.

Current Committees

Key task forces, working groups and initiatives from the Provost’s Office

President’s Faculty Advisory Board (PFAB)

Part of the New Faculty Advisory Structure this advisory group will include 12 faculty members from across the colleges and schools, charged with advising on institutional matters and focusing on the best interests of the entire University.

President’s Faculty Advisory Cohort (FAC)

This cohort includes 60 esteemed faculty members charged with advising University leadership on issues and opportunities concerning different aspects of the institution.

Faculty Working Group on Academic Integrity

This group of faculty leaders will be tasked to work with us on developing a statement on academic integrity that affirms both the importance of academic freedom and its responsible exercise in teaching at UT.

Core Curriculum Task Force

Task force to review the University’s existing general education curriculum, consider opportunities to better fulfill the purpose of this curriculum and identify gaps in quality, rigor or intellectual Cohesion.
