The Office of the Registrar has launched the UT Planner, a new online class schedule planning tool for students. The planner allows students to search for, create, and save a variety of personalized schedule options based on their preferred courses and scheduling breaks.
The UT Planner gives students the ability to compare up to four schedule options at a time based on their availability during the day. For example, students can block out specific times for breaks or when they have to go to work, and the planner will generate their options based on the preferred courses they selected. Students can also save their schedule options to review at a later time.
“Our office is extremely excited to provide this new tool to students,” said Brenda Schumann, associate registrar at UT Austin. “The UT Planner is simple to use and will save students a lot of time when planning out their schedules each semester. It is extremely helpful.”
The UT Planner is a planning tool only, and students must still register at their designated registration times via the online registration system.
